HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 90-1980 RESOLUTION NO. 90-80 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION ADOPTING REPORT OF ANNUAL SEWER RENTALS AND CHARGES FOR 1980-81 PURSUANT TO ORDINANCE NO. 396, AS AMENDED WHEREAS, pursuant to Ordinance No. 396, as amended, sewer rentals and charges are required to be assessed on the City tax rolls and collected with the regular municipal taxes; and WHEREAS, the written Report charging each parcel with the sewer ren- tals and charges have been duly filed with the City Clerk, which Report reflects adjustments made by the Director of Public Services in accordance with the protest procedure; and WHEREAS, the City Council will hold a hearing on the 6th day of August, 1980, to consider any further protests and/or modification of said Report; and ratification thereof; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, that: 1. The Report of Sewer Rental Charges for 1980-81 in accordance with Ordinance No. 396, as amended, which charges each parcel of real property receiving directly the benefits of the municipal sanitary sewer services for fiscal year 1980-81 is hereby approved~ 2. The sewer rentals and charges filed with the City Clerk contained tn the "Report of Sewer Rental Charges for 1980-81,"!' in accordance with Ordi- nance No. 396, as amended, and submitted by the Director of Finance, are hereby adopted, and said rentals and charges as so revised shall be assessed on the City tax rolls and collected with the regular municipal taxes, and sai'd rentals and charges as so revised shall as set forth in Ordinance No. 396, as amended, constitute a lien upon the respective parcels of real property in the City of South San Francisco. 3. The Report regarding said rentals and charges is subject to City Council ratification or modification after public hearing on the 6th day of August, t980, at 7:30 p.m. at the West Orange Avenue Library (in the room referred to as- the Auditorium), 840 West Orange Avenue, South San Fran- cisco, California. 4. The City Clerk shall cause a copy of this Resolution to be pub- lished within fifteen (15) days after passage, in the Enterprise-Journal, a newspaper of general circulation published in the City of South San Fran- cisco, and shall further certify to the County Tax Collector or Auditor that the Report was adopted by the Council, said certification to be substantially in the form set ,forth in the said Report. 1 hereby ce~.tify that the foregoing Resolution was regulary introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 6th day of August, 1980 by the fo 11 owing vote: AYES: Councilmen Ronald G.
