CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND ACCEPTING AMENDMENT 1-80
TO MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING, UNIT 8-CONFIDENTIAL
SECRETARIES, JULY 1, 1979 - JUNE 30, 1980
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
that'
1. Amendment. 1-80 to Unit 8.-Confidential Secretaries Memorandum of Under-
standing. The Council, on March 19, 1980, by Resolution No. 24-80
approved and accepted unit 8-Confidential Secretaries Memorandum of
Understanding entitled, "Memorandum of Understanding-Unit 8, Confidential
Secretaries, July 1, 1979 - June 30, 1980." The Council hereby approves
and accepts Amendment 1-80 to said Memorandum of Understanding, as amended,
a copy of which amendment is attached hereto as Exhibit "A."
2. City Clerk's Endorsement. The City Clerk be and she is hereby authorized ~'
to endorse and initial the following on the face of Page I of Memorandum
of Understanding-Unit 8, Confidential Secretaries July 1, 1979-June 30, 1980:
"Reclassification and salary adjustments per Section 17 and Exhibit ':A"

I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and
adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francsico at a regular
meeting held on the 6th~ day of August , 1980, by the following vote:

AMENDMENT NO. 1-80
MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING,
UNIT '8-CONFIDENTIAL SECRETARIES
JULY 1, 1979 - JUNE 30, 1980
The City of South San Francisco (hereinafter, City) and Unit 8, Confidential
Secretaries (hereinafter, Unit 8) desires to amend Memorandum of Understanding
for Unit 8, July 1, 1979 - June 30, 1980, as approved by Resolution No. 24-80,
adopted March 19, 1980.
In consideration of the aforegoing premises, and the mutual covenants
herein contained in the referenced Memorandum of Understanding, it is agreed
as follows: .
1. Reclassification and Salary Adjustments:
a) Section 17 of said Memorandum of Understanding is hereby amended
to read' Commencing with the pay period which includes Janaury 1,
1980, the following classifications and/or salary adjustments shall
be effective:

reclassifications and/or salary adjustments, a copy of which amendment is
attached hereto as Exhibit I
