CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION COMMENDING ROBERT S. ALV/XREZ
FOR HIS SERVICES TO THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN
FRANC I SCO
WHEREAS, faithful and capable employees enable municipal and other
governmental agencies to serve the public well; and
WHEREAS, the City of South San Francisco, a municipal corporation, has
been fortunate to have the faithful and capable services of Robert S. Alvarez
for fourteen years, during which period he addressed the library needs of this
community and signi~ficantlY extended library se~.vice~ with films, slides, books
in large type for the visually impaired, audio tapes and works of art; and
WHEREAS, he participated in ~other Community acl~ivities, which further
contributed to the welfare of this community; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to commend him and by this resolution
permanently record an expression of appreciation for his contribution to the
welfare of this City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco that the Council does hereby commend Robert S. Alvarez for his
contribution to the library program of this City and the progress and welfare
of this community and does by this resolution permanently record this expression
of appreciation.
