CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PURCHASE
OF TAX DEEDED PROPERTY (ASSESSOR'S
PARCEL NO. 014-021-330)
that:
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
1. The Council hereby authorizes purchase of the. tax deeded property
known as Assessor's Parcel No. 014-021-330 in the city of South San Francisco,
County of San Mateo, State of California, consisting of'ti.034 Ac Mol Lying at
Sly Terminus of Eucalyptus Ave Ptn RR R/W Aband."
2. The Council authorizes execution of an Agreement to Purchase Tax
Deeded Land, a copy of which is attached as Exhibit "A",and the Mayor is
authorized to sign on behalf of the City and the City Clerk to attest his
signature thereto'.
3. The City Manager is authorized to remit or cause to be remitted to
the Tax Collector of the County of San Mateo or other appropriate office the
sum of $152.00 plus cost of advertising and any special assessments therefor.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular
meeting held on the 3rd day of September , 1980, by the following
vote-

AGREEMENT TO PURCHASE TAX DEEDED LAND
THIS AGREEMENT made on the 7th day of 0ctober
19 80 , by.and between the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo,,
·
State of California, and the City of SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO , pursuant to
the provisions'of Division 1, Part 6, Chapter 8, of the Revenue and Taxation
Code.
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, the real property situated within the City of .~O~rTN SAN
FRANCISCO , County of San Mateo, State of California, hereinafter set
forth in Exhibit "A" attached to and made a part hereof, has been deeded to
the State of California for the non-payment of delinquent taxes; and,
WHEREAS, such deed to the State for taxes includes taxes levied by the
City of SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO , the taxes of which on the propert~ are
collected by the County officers;
NOW, THEREFORE, it is mutually agreed as follows:
1. That as provided by Section 3800 of the Revenue and Taxation Code,
the cost of giving notice of this agreement shall be paid by the Cit~ of
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO .
2. That the Board of Supervisors of the Count~ of San Mateo, agrees
to sell to said City of SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO , and said Cit~ of
SOUTH SAN F?~ANCISCO agrees to purchase from said Count~ the parcel (s)
of property hereinafter set out in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a
part hereof, which shall not have been redeemed as provided in the Revenue
and Taxation Code, upon payment by said District to the Tax Collector of said
County the sum set forth in said exhibit after the description of the propert~
and designated "Purchase Price," w~h~n days after this agreement
becomes effective.
