CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION FIXING A SPECIAL TAX
RATE FOR FISCAL YEAR 1980-81
WHEREAS, the voters of the City of South San Francisco on the 7th day
of March, 1978, approved Proposition P which authorized the City Council to
levy a special property tax not to exceed a maximum annual rate of Five Cents
(5¢) per One Hundred Dollars ($100) of assessed valuation of all taxable
property within the City, in addition to the authorized maximum annual property
tax rate, for the purpose of acquiring, using and making other payments for
improvements of real property to be used for a police and municipal purpose
facility;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco that:
1. In addition to the authorized maximum annual property tax rate,
the Council does hereby fix a special property tax for the fiscal year 1980-81
at Five Cents (5¢) upon each One Hundred Dollars ($100) of assessed value of
all property enumerated and assessed as being in the City of South San Francisco,
including real, personal, mixed and other property of whatever nature taxable
by said City.
2. The City Clerk shall forward, a certified copy of this resolution
to the County Auditor so that he may compute and enter in the assessment book
said special tax rate.
3. The taxes so levied shall be collected as provided by law.

and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at an adjourned
meeting held on the 4th day of September , 1980, by the follow-
