CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO AUTHORIZING AMENDMENT
TO AGREEMENT WI'TH IBM.CORPORATION-TO PROVIDE
FOR EXPANSlON'OFAUTOMATEDDATA'PROCESSING'SYSTEM
WHEREAS, the City Council has awarded a bid to IBM Corporation by
Resolution No. 115-80 in the amount of $37,286.56, and
WHEREAS, the City of South San Francisco desires to expand the memory
capacity of this Automated Data Processing System because such expansion
can be made at a cost approximately $9,000 less than would be required to
make such expansion in the future, and
WHEREAS, IBM Corporation provides the only equipment which can be
interfaced with the basic system acquired by the City, and
WHEREAS, the cost to the City for such expansion is $2,756.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the agreement between the City of
South San Francisco and IBM Corporation referred to above is amended to allow
for the desired expansion in the amount of $2,756 and the City Manager is
authorized to enter into a contract with IBM Corporation to provide for the
base system acquisition and the expansion in the total amount of $40,042.56.
