HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 132-1980RESOLUTION NO. 132-80 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF SUPPLEMENT NO. 04 TO LOCAL AGENCY- STATE AGREEMENT NO. 04-5177 that- BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco 1. Execution of Supplement No. 04. Execution of Supplement No. 04 to the Master Agreement for the Federal-Aid Program entered i~to between the City of South San Francisco and the State of California on February 1, 1978, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit "A," is hereby authorized. 2. Signatures. The City Manager is authorized to execute said Supplement on behalf of the City, and the City Clerk attest his signature thereto. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 19th day of November , 1980, by the following vote: AYES: Councilmen Ronald G. The City of South San Francisco will advertise, award and adm'inis%er this projec~ · 3. Unless determined otherwise by San Mateo County's Cooperative Process Committee, the actual funds for tke project.will be set up on the basis of contract prices after the bids for the work have been opened. In awarding, or agreeing to award the contract, the local. agency agrees the payment of Federal funds will be limited to the detail estimate amount approved by the Federal Highway Administration in the Federal-Aid Project Agreement (PR-2) , or its modification PR-2A, and accepts any increases in local .agency funds. 4. The use of Federal' funds for this project is based on this project being part of the FAU Program for San Mateo County's portion of the San Francisco - Oakland Urbanized Area. 5. Should higher priority projects 'cause increase or decrease to the Federal funds available, this project will be financed with the maximum Federal funds available to the County. 6. Should additional Federal funds become available to the County, this amount will, at the City's request, be increased to the amount available but not to exceed the maximum legal Federal pro rata share with a corresponding decrease in 'the matching funds. 7. The City share of matching funds for Co. nstruction Engineering and Construction will be 100% of the amount remaining after Federal participation and 169.1 funds. 8. The' costs of preliminary' engineering will be borne by the City as' per the. County FAU Committee guidelines. · 9. In thD event the Item 169.1 funds required are less than the amount shown in Exhibit B or~ the detail estimate, the 'excess may revert to County projects provided the funds are released prior to June 30., 1982 and providing project(s) containing Item 169.1 funds can utilize the released funds. 12. In accordance with Section 16304 of the Government Code, Item 169.1 funds may be avail- able for expenditure until June 30, 1983 unless otherwise provided by future budget act language. 13. The City may be required to report to the California Transportation Commission concerning use of Item 169.1 funds and that the funds freed as a result of the receipt of Item 169..1 funds are eligible for street, road and highway purposes.
