HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 141-1980 RESOLUTION NO. 141-80 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN .FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION COMMENDING JOHN NOONAN WHEREAS, JOHN NOONAN, City Attorney, is retiring as of December 30, 1980, after twenty-four (24) years as an employee of the City of South San Francisco, duri.ng which period he faithfully served the City in that capacity, and WHEREAS, John Noonan served as a member of the City Council of the City of South San Francisco from 1952 until 1954, and WHEREAS, throughout his thirty-three (33) year residence, John Noonan has been a positive influence on this community politically, socially and economically and has been known as a model for truth and integrity, and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of South San Francisco desires on this occasion of his retirement to commend and express appreciation to him therefor, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the City Council does hereby commend and express appreciation to John Noonan, City Attorney, for his dedicated services to the City of South San Francisco and does order this Resolution incorporated in the official records of the City as this Council's expression and its wishes for a long and happy retirement. Approved by the Mayor December 17, Mayor , 1980 I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 17th day of December , 1980, by the following vote' AYES: Councilmen Ronald G.
