HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 8-1981 RESOLUTION NO. 8-81 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION PRESCRIBING THE TIME AND METHOD OF PAYING SALARIES' ADOPTING REVISED PAY RANGE SCHEDULES AND PROVIDING FOR RELATED MATTERS (1981). BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that' 1. Alphabetical List of Classifications and Pay Rang.es' The document consisting of fOur pages, designated Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein by this reference, entitled "City of South San Francisco AlPhabetical List of Classifications and Pay Ranges, 1981" is hereby approved and adopted, and same sets forth the position title, designates those positions which are classified, unclassified, part-time, elective, or members of Boards and 'Commissions; sets opposite the position titles and range numbers which are effective January, 1981, and which range numbers relate to the City of South San Francisco Master Salary Table - Standard Bi-Weekly and Fire.Bi-Weekly described below. 2. City of South Sa_n Francisco Master Salar,v- Standard Bi-Weekly: The document, containing thirty-seven pages with Range Number 200 to and including 2000, and incorporated herein by this reference, entitled "City of South San Francisco Master Salary Table - Standard Bi-Weekly," is hereby approved and adopted January 1, 1981, for all positions except those positions provided for in the Fire Bi-Weekly Salary Table. 3. City of South San Francisco Master Salary Table - Fire Bi-Weekly' The document, containing thirty-seven pages with Range Number 200 to and including 2000, and incorporated herein by this. reference, entitled "City of South.San Francisco Master Salary Table - Fire Bi-Weekly," is hereby approved and adopted January, 1981, for all positions except those positions provided for in the Standard Bi-Weekly Salary Table. 4. Method of Payin. g Salaries' Salaries shall be paid bi-weekly in accordance with the applicable · salary table, with the specific range and step for each employee being computed in accordance with the effective Memorandum of Understanding. Payments shall be made by payroll checks countersigned by two authorized signatures, based on payroll or attendance records approved by the Department Heads of the respective Departments. 5. Ratification of Payroll' Payrolls shall be presented to the City Council for ratification and approval at the first meeting after delivery of the payroll checks. 6. Maintenance of Copies: Copies of the Standard Bi-Weekly Master Salary Table and Fire Bi-'Weekly Master Salary Table shall be filed with the City Clerk for Central Records. The City Clerk shall endorse thereon "Approved Janaury, 1981, by Resolution No. 8-81 adopted January 21 ., 19 81 .', I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced . and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held this 21st day of January , 1981, by the foi lowing vote: AYES'Councilmen Ronald G.
