CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE
PORTION OF EUCALYPTUS AVENUE
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco,
California, as follows'
1. This Resolution is adopted pursuant to the Street Vacation Act of
1941 (Streets and Highways Code Section 8300, et seq.).
2. Notice is hereby given that Wednesday , the 1st day of
April , 19j81, at 7-30 p.m., which time is not less than fifteen
(15) days from the date of passage of this Resolution, in the West Orange
Avenue Library (in the room referred to as the Auditorium), 840 West Orange
Avenue, South San Francisco, California, is hereby fixed as the time and place
.when and where all persons interested in, or having objections to,~the pro-
posed vacation of a portion of Eucalyptus Avenue.
as hereinafter described, may appear before said Council and be heard.
3. Not less than ten (10) days prior to the hearing date, a copy of
this Resolution shall be published once in the Enterprise-Journal, a news-
paper of general circulation printed and published in said City in the man-
ner prescribed by law for publishing ordinances in said City.
4. Notices of the vacation, stating the passage of the Resolution of
Intention and the time and place of hearing shall be posted conspicuously
along the line of the street, or part thereof, proposed to be vacated at
lo
least ten (10) days before the date set for the hearing and not less than
three (3) notices shall be posted.
5. The public interest and convenience require, and it is the intention
of this Council to vacate a portion of Eucalyptus Avenue as shown on the map
entitled "Location Map, Proposed Abandonment of a Portion of Eucalyptus Avenue,"
attached hereto as Exhibit A, which is more particularly described in Exhi.bit

B attached hereto.
The public interest, convenience and necessity require the reservation
of an easement for storm drain, sanitary sewer and public utility purposes
which is more particularly described in Exhibit C attached hereto, and by
this reference incorporated herein as if set forth verbatim and the vacation
proceedings are taken subject to such reservation and exception. The City
Council does hereby reserve and except from such proceedings the easement
for storm drain, sanitary sewer and public utility purposes so described in
Exhi bi t C.
6. A copy of this Resolustion shall be submitted to the Planning Com-
mission of the City of South San Francisco for a report and recommendation
in accordance with the Government Code of the State of California.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a

Vacation of a portion of Eucalyptus Avenue street right-of-way described as
fol 1 ows:
All that certain real property situated in the City of South San Francisco,
County of San Mateo, State of California, and more particularly described
as follows:
All of Eucalyptus Avenue north of Park Way as shown upon the map entitled "PARK
AVENUE HEIGHTS", SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, SAN MATEO COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, recorded in
the San Mateo County Recorder's Office on April 18, 1956 in Book 44 of Maps,
pages 39 and 40 described as follows:
Beginning at the northeast corner of Lot 2, Block 9 as shown in the abo. ve men-
tioned map, thence southerly along the easterly line of said Lot 2~S 28°00'00"W
76.40 feet, thence southerly 21.16 feet along a tangent curve to the left with a
radius of 430 feet and a central angle of 2°49'12'' to a point of reverse curve,
a tangent as said point bearing south 25°10'48'' West; thence Westerly 29.81
feet along a curve to the right having a .radius of 20 feet a central angle of
85o23'43'' to a point on the northerly line of Park Way; a tangent at said point
bearing South 69o25'29'' East; thence easterly 97.12 feet along a curve to the
right having a radius of 652.91 and a central angle of 8°31'22'' to the intersec-
tion of said northerly line of Park Way and the westerly line of Lot l, Block 8
as shown in the above mentioned map, a tangent at said point bearing North
60o54'07'' East; thence northerly 30.08 feet along the westerly curve line of
Lot l, BlOck. 8, a curve to the right having a radius of 20 feet and a central
angle of 86°10'49'', to a point of compound curve, a tangent at said pOint
bearing North 25o16'42'' East; thence northeasterly 17.58 feet along said compound
curve to the right having a radius of 370 feet and a central angle of 2°43'18";

Reserving therefrom an easement for storm drains, sanitary sewers and public
utilities described as follows:
All that real property situated in the City of South San Francisco, State of
California, described as follows-
A strip of land 40 feet in width lying l0 feet easterly and 30 feet westerly
from the centerline of Eucalyptus Avenue as shown upon the map entitled "PARK
AVENUE HEIGHTS", SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, SAN MATEO COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, recorded
in the San Mateo County Recorder's Office on April 18, 1956 in Book 44 of
Maps, pages 39 and 40 described as follows:
Beginning at the northeast corner of LOT 2 Block 9 as shown in the aforementioned
map "PARK AVENUE HEIGHTS" thence South 74027'00'' East 30.72 feet to the True
Point of Beginning; thence South 28o00'00'' West 83.02 feet; thence southerly
37.53 feet along a tangent curve having a radius of 400 feet and a central angle
of 5022'34'' to the northerly line of Park Way.
The side lines of said easement to be shortened or lengthened as necessary to
provide continuity.
