HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 19-1981- RESOLUTION NO. 19-81 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 118-80 EN- TITLED, "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO APPPROVING AND ADOPT- ING THE SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO PERSONNEL RULES AND REGULATIONS, 1980 EDITION, AND SUPERSEDING PREVIOUS EDITIONS" AND SECTION 5.03 - RESIDENCY REQUIREMENTS BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that Rule 5, Section 5.03, as set forth in Resolution No. 118-80 adopted October l, 1980, is hereby amended to read as follows: "5.03 RESIDENCY REQUIREMENTS In order to assure employees' availability for the protection of life and property and to otherwise serve the health, safety and welfare of the community, employees must reside and their primary residence must be within a radius of seventy-five (75) miles from South San Francisco City Hall. Current and future employees shall move within said radius within six (6) months after appointment od the adoption of this Section, whichever i s 1 ater." I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 18th day of February, 1981, by the following vote: AYES: Councilmen Ronald G. Acosta, Mark N. Addiego, Gu'$~ Nicolopulos; and Councilwoman Roberta Cerri Teglia Councilman Emanuele N. Damonte NOES: ABSENT: None City Clerk
