CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SO]TH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION REQUESTING PARTICIPATION IN
THE CITY/COUNTY HIGHWAY PROGRAM OF 1981
WHEREAS, the City of South San Francisco believes the operation of
the City/County Highway Program to be in the public interest; and
WHEREAS, in order to receive County'allocations as specified in "A
REPORT ON THE OPERATION OF' THE CITY/COUNTY HIGHWAY PROGRAM OF 1981" as
adopted by the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors on February 10, 1981,
it is necessary for the City to signify its desire to participate, and to
set forth its proposed projects under said program;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
South San Francisco that the City of South San Francisco desires to join the
City/County Highway Program, and approves the administrative procedure con-
tained in the document entitled, "A REPORT ON THE OPERATION OF THE CITY/
COUNTY HIGHWAY PROGRAM OF 1981."
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the projects which the City of South San
Francisco wishes to construct under said program are as follows:
PROJECT'#I: Ashalt Overlay.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF WORK PROPOSED: Westborough
Boulevard between Gellert Boulevard and Junipero~ Serra.
APPROXIMATE COST: $40,000.
APPROXIMATE TIMETABLE: Completion date - October 1981.
PROJECT #2: Asphalt Overlay
GENERAL DESCRIPTION'OF WORK PROPOSED: Hemlock Avenue.
APPROXIMATE COST: $100,000
APPROXIMATE TIMETABLE: Completion date - October 1981.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly intro-
duced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at
an adjourned meeting held on the 21stday of May , 1981, by
the following vote'
AYES: Councilmen Ronald G. Acosta, Mark N. Addiego, Emanuele N. Damont~,
Gus Nicolopulos; and Councilwoman Roberta Cerri Teglia
