CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE BUILDING AT
2304 OLYMPIC DRIVE, SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO,
CALIFORNIA, TO BE A PUBLIC NUISANCE
WHEREAS, there exists at 2304 Olympic Drive in the City of South San
Francisco, a building which has been found by the Building Inspector of this
City to be a "dilapidated building;" and
WHEREAS, the Building Inspector has given the "Notice to Abate Nuisance"
required by Ordinance No. 405 of this City; and
WHEREAS, this City Council has held a hearing concerning the condition
of the affected premises, the estimated cost of abating the nuisance and other
pertinent matters;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco that the following findings are made:
1. That the dilapidated condition of the building located at 2304 Olympic
Drive in the City of South San Francisco constitutes a public nuisance as contem-
plated in Ordinance No. 405.
2. That the estimated cost of abating the nuisance is approximately $10,000.
3. That the public health, safety and welfare require that the afore-
mentioned structure be abated at the earliest date possible within the parameters
of the law.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Building Inspector of this City is hereby
instructed to post a notice upon the aforementioned affected premises within ten
(10) days after the date of adoption of this Resolution specifying the action taken
by the City Council, which notice shall, by its terms direct the owner to abate
said nuisance within thirty (30) days thereafter.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Building Inspector is hereby directed
to comply with the other notice provisions of Section 6 of Ordinance No. 405, and
thereupon is to insure that said abatement is carried out in accordance with that
Ordinance.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at an adjourned
meeting held on the 21st day of May , 1981, by the following
