HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 75-1981 RESOLUTION NO. 75-81 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDMENT O-1, 1980'81 .~ OPERATING 'BUDGET WHEREAS, the City Council, on November 19, 1980, adopted Resolution No. 131-80, approving the preliminary Operating Budget for fiscal year 1980-81, wherein the appropriations for Personnel Services were based upon Memoranda of Understanding applicable to fiscal year 1979-80, and WHEREAS, various Memoranda of Understanding have been executed or agreed upon in concept which requires an increase in appropriation for Personnel Services for 1980-81, and WHEREAS, certain changes to the original budget had been approved by the City Council in prior meetings, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of South San Francisco does: 1. Authorize the Acting Director of Finance to increase the appropriations for Personnel Services of the various accounts of the City for 1980-81 in recognition of the Memoranda of Understanding by an aggregate amount not to exceed $54,600. · 2. SuCh increases in appropriations for the Memoranda of Understanding shall be allocated from the following sources: $54,600 General Fund Account No. 12-3990. 3. Authorize the Acting Director of Finance to increase appropriations for Non-Departmental, 12-4231-426-20, Materials-Building by $3,250. The $3,250 is for a settlement which Mrs. Helen Price will accept in lieu of restructuring the loft in the rear room of 409 Grand Avenue. 4. Authorize the Acting Director of Finance to transfer $300 from 12-41Ql-lQ8-~08 to 12-4501-108-08. The $300 is for the purchase of a chair and desk lamp to enable the new Personnel Director to more effectively perform his duties. 5. Authorize the Acting Director of Finance to process the appropriation of $1,750 from General Fund Reserves 12-3990, for the moving of Microwave Station from the old Police Station to the new Police Station. The $1,750 is to be transferred to 12-4317-243-48. The City Council approved the estimated cost of $1,750 at its October 15, 1980 meeting. 6. Authorize the Acting Director of Finance to transfer $52,000 from the Revenue Sharing Fund to Account No. 12-4508-189-36 for the Paramedic Emergency Medical Rescue Ambulance. The City Council approved the purchase at its May 6, 1981 meeting. 7. Authorize the Acting Director of Finance to transfer $906 from Account No. 12-4234-452-74, to Account'No. 12-4503-452-74, Parks and Recreation Department. 1 hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at an adjourned meeting held on this' 7th day of July , 19 81 , by the following vote: AYES: NOES: ABSENT Councilmen Ronald G.
