A RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT-

DEWATER.ING FACILITIES, PROJECT NO.

that:
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco,
WHEREAS, pursuant to previous authorization and~ published notice,
bids were publicly opened, examined and declared on the 18thday of
May , 1981, for
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO-SAN BRUNO SLUDGE DEWATERING
FAC.ILITIES, PROJECT NO. WTP-80-2, EPA PROJECT
NO. C-136-1267-140
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED AS FOLLOWS'
1. That said Council does hereby reject all of said proposals, or
bids except that hereinafter mentioned, and hereby awards the contract to
the lowest--responsible bidder, Monterey Mechanical Company of Oakland,
California. .~ ~
for .the bid price of Six Hundred Twentv-.Four Thousand.Five Hundred F)oll,~s.
($ 624,500 ).
2. That,'the.City Manager of said City is hereby authorized to make
and enter~into a written contract with said successful bidder and the City
Clerk of said City is hereby directed to attest his~. signature and.'affix
thereto the corporate seal of the City.
