CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION REQUESTING AN INCREASE IN
THE PARKING~ INFRACTION BAIL SCHEDULE
WHEREAS, on December l, 1981 the County of San Mateo established a
fund known as the San Mateo County Criminal Justice Facility Temporary Con-
struction Fund; and
WHEREAS, the County of San Mateo initiated certain surcharges upon
filings for parking, non-parking, and all other criminal cases to be deposited
into such Fund; and
WHEREAS, the judges of San Mateo County will consider requests for
an increase in the bail schedule; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to increase South San Francisco's parking
infraction bail schedule by 50¢ to cover costs of enforcement by the City of
South San Francisco;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco that:
It is hereby requested that the judges of the County of San Mateo
increase South San Francisco's parking infraction bail schedule in the amount
of 50¢ for each parking offense for which a fine is imposed.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by th'e City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a
regular meeting held on the 16th day of December
19 81 , by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Ronald G. Acosta, Gus Nicolopulos; and Roberta Cerri
Tegl ia
NOES: Councilmembers Mark N. Addiego and Emanuele N. Damonte
