HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1-1982RESOLUTION NO; .... 1-82 .... CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION COMMENDING '"JAMES'RICE ..... WHEREAS, JAMES RICE, Park Maintenance Worker II, retired as of December 31, 1981, after over fifteen (15) years as an employee of the City of South San Francisco, during which period he faithfully served the City, and WHEREAS, JAMES RICE worked in the capacity of custodian to the Parks & Recreation Department and then as Park Maintenance Worker I and Park Mainten- ance Worker II, and WHEREAS, he also spent considerable time on the mowing crew, was respons- ible for maintaining the islands in the Industrial Parks, and worked in emergency flood situations sand-bagging flooded areas, and WHEREAS, JAMES RICE performed all these services in a courteous and pro- fessional manner, and the City Council wishes to express appreciation to him therefor on the occasion of his retirement; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the City Council does hereby commend JAMES RICE for his dedicated services to the City of South San Francisco and does order this Resolution incorporated in the official records of the City as this Council's expression of appreciation.
