HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 9-1982RESOLUTION NO.' 9-82 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA ARESOLUTION'DECLARING~A'LOCAL'EMERGENCY WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of South San Francisco does hereby find that as a result of the storm which struck this City on the night of January 4, 1982, conditions of extreme peril to the safety of persons and property have arisen within the City of South San Francisco, which conditions were caused by flooding, landslides, mudslides and related causes; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that a local emergency exists and has existed throughout said City since January 4, 1982; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that during the existence of said local emergency the powers, functions and duties of the emergency organizations of this City shall be as prescribed by State law, the South San Francisco Municipal Code, Resolutions of this City, and the Emergency Plan, as approved by the City Council. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly intro- duced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a special meeting held on the 13th day of January , 1982, by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Ronald G. Acosta, Mark N. Addiego, Emanuele N. Damonte, Gus Nicolopulos; and Roberta Cerri Teglia NOES: None ABSENT: None . .
