STAFF I NG AND CLASS ! F I CAT I ON CHANGES I N
CERTAIN DEPARTMENTS.
BE IT RESOLVED By the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
that effective January 1, 1982, the'following staffing and classification
changes are a~thorized 'and approved:
1. In the Police Department a vacant position· of Police Clerk shall be
reclassified to Senior Police Clerk.
2. In the Department of Public Services, Public Works Division,
Electrical Section the incumbent in the position of Electrical
Technician shall be reclassified to Senior Electrical Technician.
3. in the Office Of the City Clerk there shall be authorized an
Unclassified Position of Deputy City Clerk. Appointment to this
position may be made by .the City Clerk pursuant to provisions of
the California Government Code. Appointment can only be made
from the Secretary I position .assigned to the office of the City
Clerk. When the Deputy City Clerk position is filled by such an
appointment the Secretary i position shall remain vacant. When
the Secretary I position is filled, the Deputy City Clerk position
shall remain vacant.·
4. In the Department of Public Services, Public Works Division,
Electrical Section there shall be authorized three positions of
Assistant Electrical Technician or Electrical Technician (auto-
matic progress ion).
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a
regular meeting held on the 20th day of January , 1982, by
the following vote:
