HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 30-1982RESOLUTION NO. 30-82 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH 'SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION LIMITING THE NUMBER OF TERMS OF HOUSING AUTHORITY COMMISSIONERS WHEREAS, the Housing Authorities law (Section 34200 et seq. of Health and Safety Code) authorizes the City Council by resolution to activate the Hous- ing Authority of the City of South San Francisco, and WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 799, adopted March 3, 1941, the City Council of the City of South-San Francisco did make the necessary determinations for the activation of said Housing Authority, and WHEREAS', the Housing Authorities law also authorizes the City Council to make appointments of Commissioners to the Housing Authority Board of Commission- ers, and WHEREAS, it is and has been the continuing policy of the City Council of the City of South San Francisco to limit the number of consecutive terms for which citizens may be appointed to the various boards and commissions of said City to not exceed two consecutive terms; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that Housing Authority Commissioners are hereby limited to two consecutive terms. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 17th day of March , 1982, · by the following vote' AYES.
