A RESOLUT I ON ACCEPT I NG AND APPROV I NG
AMENDMENTS TO THE MEMORANDA OF UNDERSTANDING
BE-FWEEN THE C~ITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO AND
UNIT //5 - SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO POLICE OFFICER'S
ASSOCIATION AND UNIT //7 - NON-SWORN POLICE
DEPARTMENT EMPLOYEES.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that

the Amendments to the Memoranda of UnderStanding for Units 5 - South' San Francisco
Police Officers AssoCiation and Unit //7-'Non Sworn Police Department Employees,
copies of which are attached as Exhibit "A" - Unit //5'and Exhibit f'B" - Unit ~7.:add
are incorporated herein by this reference as if set forth verbatim, are hereby
accepted and approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and is hereby authorized to
endorse on said Amendments to the Memoranda of Understanding the fol lowing:

~.IENDHENT TO MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING
BETWEEN THE CITY. OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
AND.UNIT #5 -..SOUTH..SAN FRANCISCO POLICE
'OFFICERS' ASSOCIATION

The City of South San Francisco (hereinafter, City) and Unit #5, South
San Francisco Police Officers Association (hereinafter, Unit #5), hereby
agree to amend Panagraph 1, Term of the MemorandUm of Understandi.ng (here-
inafter, Agreement), coveri.ng the period of jUly 1, 1981, to June 30, 1982,
to provide that all terms and conditions of the Agreement shall remain in
full force and effect thrqugh and including ~October 29, 1982, in order to
allow for the negotiations of a succes'sor .Agreement in September and October
of 1982 to commence not later than September 7, 1982.
The City and Unit #5 further .agree that the subject of the effective date
of any. salary changes shall be subject to the negotiations of the successor
Agreement and that such salary changes may take effect as early as 7/1/82.
Except as herein amended, the terms and conditions of the July 1, 1981
to June 30, 1982 MemOrandum of Understanding for Unit #5 are hereby reaffirmed
and shall remain in full force and effect.
In witness whereof, the City and Unit #5 hereto have executed this
Amendment to the Memorandum of Understanding in the City of South San Francisco

AMENDMENT TO ~tEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING
BETWEEN THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCSICO
AND UNIT #7 - NON-SWORN POLICE DEPARTMENT

The City of South San Francisco (hereinafter, City) and Unit #?, ~on-Sworn

Police Department Employees (hereinafter, Unit #7), hereby .agree to amend
Pa.r. agraph 1, Term of the Memorandum of Understandi.ng (hereinafter, Agreement),
covering the period of July i, 1981 to June 30, '1982, to provide that all terms
and conditions of the Agreement shall remain in full force and effect th.r.o_ugh
and including .October 29, 1982, in ·order to allow for the negotiations of a
successor Agreement in September and October of 1982, to commence not later
than September 7, 1982.
The City and Unit #7 further .agree that the subject of the'.effective date
