CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION ANNEXING CERTAIN TERRITORY TO
THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO DESIGNATED
"ANNEXATION OF LANDS OF MANTEGANI TO THE
CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO" (.60+_ ACRES)
PURSUANT TO THE MUNICIPAL ORGANIZATION'ACT
(SECTION 35000 ET SEQ. OF THE GOVERNMENT CODE)
WHEREAS, the Local Agency Formation Commission of the County of San
Mateo (LAFCO) adopted its Resolution No. 655 on April 21, 1982, making deter-
minations and approving the proposed annexation to the City of South San Fran-
cisco of the territory described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and by this
reference incorporated herein; and
WHEREAS, preliminary proceedings regarding said annexation were origin-
ally commenced upon the written request of Mario J. Mantegani and Remo Mantegani;
and
WHEREAS, the distinctive short form designation assigned by LAFCO to
the territory to be annexed is' "82-4 -- Annexation of Lands of Mantegani to
the City of South San Francisco;" and
WHEREAS, the area to be annexed consists of .60+- acres; and
WHEREAS, LAFCO has determined that the territory proposed to be annexed
is uninhabited and that annexation by the City of South San Francisco may be under-
taken without notice and hearing and without an election pursuant to Section
35151 of the Government Code; and
WHEREAS, all of the owners of said uninhabited territory have consented
in writing to such annexation; and
WHEREAS, the reason for the proposed annexation of said uninhabited
territory is to consolidate within the City of South San Francisco the uninhabited
territory described herein with contiguous property owned by Mario J. Mantegani

and Remo Mantegani, which uninhabited territory was formerly part of the
Hillside Boulevard right-of-way held by the County of San Mateo and has since
been abandoned by the County of San Mateo.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco that'
1. This Council hereby finds that, with respect to the proposed annex-
ation of the territory described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto under the short
form designation of "82-4 -- Annexation of Lands of Mantegani to the City of
South San Francisco," all of the land owners within such territory have consented
in writing to such annexation.
2. Pursuant to the provisions of Government Code Sections 35224.5 and
35234, this COuncil hereby orders the territory described in Exhibit "A" to be
annexed to the City of South San Francisco. All land and improvements within
said territory shall be liable for the general indebtedness of the City exist-
ing at the time of annexation.
3. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to transmit a
certified copy of this resolution along with a remittance to cover the fees
required by Section 54902.5 of the Government Code to the Executive Officer
of the Local Agency Formation Commission of the County of San Mateo.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular
meeting held on the 2nd day of~' June , 1982, by the following vote'
