BE IT RESOLVED the the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
'l.. Extension of Agreement.
Extension of the Agreement between the County of San Mateo and the
City of South San Francisco entered into as of July 21, 1981, entitled "Agreement
Providing for a Program Utilizing Mobile Intensive Care P'aramedics Pursuant to the
· .
Wedworth-Townsend Act," providing for an extension of the term of said Agreement to
and' including.September 30, 1982, is hereby authorized and attached hereto as
Exhibit "A."
2. ' 'Signatures.
The Mayor of the City of South San Francisco is hereby authorized to
execute said extension on behalf of the City, and the City Clerk attest his signature
thereto.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regUlary introduced and
adopted by the City CounCil of the City of South San Francisco at a regular

AGREEMENT AMENDING PRIOR AGREEMENT
PROVIDING FOR A PROGRAM UTILIZING
MOBILE INTENSIVE CARE PARAMEDICS
PURSUANT TO THE WEDV/~)RTH-TOWNSEND
· PARAMED I C~ ACT
THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into as of this 16th day of
O~,n~ , 1982, by and between the COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, a
political subdivision of the State of'California, and the CITY OF sOUTH
SAN FRANCISCO, a municipal corporation.
WITNESSETH-

WHEREAS, on July 21, 1981, the parties hereto entered into an
agreement whereby each agreed to participate in a program utiliZing Mobile
Intensive Care Paramedics'pursuant to the Wedworth-Townsend Paramedic Act]
(Article 3, Section 1480, et seq. of the State of California Health and
Safety Code); and
WHEREAS, it is now the mutual desire of the parties to amend said
agreement as herein provided;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS AGREED:
1. Paragraph 2 of the agreement entered into on July 21, 1981, as
aforesaid, is hereby amended to read-
"2. Term of Agreement: The term of this agreement shall
be from the first day of July, 1981, through the thirtieth
day of September, 1982, unless extended by mutual agreement."
2.· Except as specifically provided herein, the terms and conditions
of the agreement entered into on July 21, 1981, shall remain unchanged.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto, first being duly author-
ized, have executed this Agreement as of the date and year first above
written.
