CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION COMMENDING RICHARD J. WILLIAMS
WHEREAS, Richard J. Williams, has dedicated twenty seven years and
eight months as a Fireman and Engineer in the City of South San Francisco and
effectively contributed to the City and its Fire Department; and
WHEREAS, during his twenty seven years and eight months of service
he was an active member of the Firefighters' Union Local 1507; and
WHEREAS, he is a Charter member of the Widows and Orphans Association
of the Fire Department; and
WHEREAS, he has helped to protect this City over twenty seven years
of service; and
WHEREAS, his dedication to justice, fairness and his high morals are
in the highest tradition of the Fire Department; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to express appreciation to .Richard
J. Williams for his contribution to the South San Francisco Fire Department and
the community in general;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco that it does hereby express appreciation to Richard J. Williams
for his dedicated services to the City of South San Francisco and does order this
Resolution incorporated in the official records of the City as this Council's
expression and its wishes for his long and happy retirement.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced

and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a
regular meeting held on the 7th day of July
1982, by the following vote-
