CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION COMMENDING JOHN SPARGO
WHEREAS, John Spargo, has dedicated fourteen (14) years to the
Department of Parks and Recreation in the City of South San Francisco, during
which period he faithfully served the City; and
WHEREAS, faithful and capable employees enable municipal and other
governmental agencies to serve the public well; and
WHEREAS, the City of South San Francisco, a municipal corporation,
has been fortunate in having the capable services of John Spargo; and
WHEREAS, John was a constant example of willingness to do more than
his share to contribute to the effectiveness of City operations; and
WHEREAS, his devotion to duty and the quality of his services have
been of great benefit to the City and its residents, and because of this the
City Council desires to commend and express appreciation to him;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by.the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco that it does hereby express appreciation to John Spargo for his
dedicated services to the City of South San Francisco and does order this resolu-
tion incorporated in the official records of the City as this Council's expression
and its wishes for his long and happy retirement.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a
regular meeting held on the 4th day.of August . 1982,
by the following vote-
