CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING THAT THE SAN FRANCISCO BAY
PLAN BE AMENDED'TO CHANGE THE BCDC PARK PRIORITY
DESIGNATION FROM THE SOUTH SIDE TO THE WEST ,SIDE OF
THE OYSTER POINT BUSINESS PARK SITE
WHEREAS, the South San Francisco Planning Commission reviewed and approved the
subject Bay Plan Amendment by Resolution No. 2314 adopted on July 22, 1982; and
WHEREAS, the South San Francisco City Council reviewed the subject Bay Plan
Amendment at their regular meeting of August 4, 1982; and
WHEREAS, it was determined that the proposed Bay Plan Amendment was consistent
with the General Plan and Zoning Ordinance of the City of South San Francisco; and
WHEREAS, after reviewing the proposed "Park Priority Area," it was determined
that the proposed "Park Priority Area" located on the westerly side of the Oyster
Point Business Park would be more beneficial to the community and more conducive
to park related uses and activities;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco that it formally requests, recommends and supports an amendment to the
San Francisco Bay Plan which would change the Park Priority Designation from the
south side to the west side of the Oyster Point Business Park site as indicated on
Exhibit "A," attached hereto.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and
adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a r~.gular
meeting held on the 4th day of August , 1982, by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Ronald G. Acosta, Mark N. Addi~g~, Fmanu~.l~ N.
Gus Nicolopulos; and Roberta Cerri Teglia
NOES: No ne
