HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 108-1982 RESOLUTION NO. 108-82 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION OF SOUTH AIRPORT BOULEVARD BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco as follows: 1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Wednesday , the 6th day of October , 19 82, at 7:30 p.m., which time is not less than fifteen (15) days from the date of passage of this Resolution, in the Community Room of the Municipal Services Building, 33 Arroyo Drive, South San Francisco, California, is hereby fixed as the time and place when and where all persons interested in, or having objections to, the proposed vacation of A PORTION OF SOUTH AIRPORT BOULEVARD as hereinafter described, may appear before said Council and be heard. 2. This Resolution is adopted pursuant to the Street Vacation Act of 1941 (Streets and Highways Code Section 8300 et seq.). 3. A copy of this Resolution shall be published for at least two (2) successive weeks prior to the hearing date in the Enterprise-Journal, a newspaper of general circulation printed and published in said City. 4. Notices of the vacation, stating the passage of the Resolution of Intention and the time and place of hearing shall be posted conspicuously not more than three hundred (300) feet apart along the line of the street, or part thereof, proposed to be vacated at least two (2) weeks before the date set for the hearing, and not less than three (3) notices shall be posted. -1- 5. The public interest and convenience require, and it is the intention of this Council to vacate A PORTION OF SOUTH AIRPORT BOULEVARD as shown on the map entitled PLAT OF A PORTION OF AIRPORT BOULEVARD which is on file in the office of the City Clerk, and which is more particu- larly described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, and which is incorporated by reference herein as though set forth verbatim. 6. A copy of this Resolution shall be submitted to the Planning Com- mission of the City of South San Francisco for a report and recommendation in accordance with Section 65402 of the Government Code. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the.City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a re?ular meeting held on the 1st day of September , i9,.82., by the following vote- AYES- Councilmembers Mark N.
