A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN
AGREEMENT WITH THE NORTH SAN MATCO COUNTY
SANITATION DISTRI CT
that:
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
1. Execution of Agreement.
Execution of an Agreement entitled "Supplement No. 5 to Agreement
dated March 4, 1980 for Sewage Disposal by and between the City of South San
Francisco and the North San Mateo County Sanitation District" is hereby
authorized, and a copy of said Agreement is attached her6to as Exhibit "A."
2. Signatures.
The Mayor is authorized to execute ~said Agreement on behalf of the
City, and the City Clerk attest her signature thereto.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a
regular meeting held on the 15th day of September , 1982, by

SUPPLEMENT NO. 5 TO AGREEMENT
DATED MARCH 4, 1~8, FOR SEWAGE
DISPOSAL BY AND BETWEEN THE CITY
OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO AND THE
NORTH SAN MATEO COUNTY SANITATION DISTRICT
THiS SUPPLEMENT NO'. 5 TO AGREEMENT, made and entered into as of
the 15th day of September , 198_2 by and between the City of
South San Francisco, a municipal corporation, herein, after .called "City" and
the North San Mateo County Sanitation District, a public corporation, hereinafter
called "District"-
WITNESSETH

WHEREAS, the parties hereto have heretofore entered into an agreement,

dated March 4, 1968, relating to the collection, treatment and disposal of sewage which
in Section III.4 provided for periodic changes, alterations or supplementation of
;aid agreement; and
WHEREAS, the parties as of January l, 1977, entered into an agreement
entitled "Supplement to Agreement for Sewage Disposal by and Between. the City of
South. San Francisco and the North San Mateo County Sanitation District", (hereinafter
called "Supplement 1"); and
WHEREAS, the parties as of April 4, 1979, entered into an agreement
entitled "Supplement No. 2 to Agreement for Sewage Disposal by and Between the
City of South San Francisco and the North San Mateo County Sanitation District",
(hereinafter called "Supplement 2"); and
WHEREAS, the parties as of June 1, 1980, entered into an agreement
entitled "Supplement No. 3 to Agreement for Sewage Disposal by and Between the
City of South San Francisco and the North San Mateo County Sanitation District",.
~ereinafter called "Supplement 3"); and
WHEREAS, the parties as of December 16, 1981, entered into an agreement
entitled "Supplement No. 4 to Agreement for Sewage Disposal by and Between the City

(hereinafter called "Supplement 4"); and
WHEREAS, representatives of the parties to said agreement have
reviewed said agreement, as supplemented, and have determined upon certain changes
in the'provisions thereof; and
WHEREAS, the public convenience and necessity will be served
thereby;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY AGREED, as follows-
1. The parties hereto hereby agree to the following changes and
alterations of the agreement for sewage disposal between the City of South San
Francisco and the North San Mateo County Sanitation District, dated March 4, 1960,
as supplemented.
1.1 The schedule of service charges contained in Section 1.5
shall be changed to read as follows'

by and between the parties hereto, dated March 4, 1968, as supplemented, shall
continue unchanged and shall remain in full force and effect.
