HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 154-1982RESOLUTION NO. 154-82 A RESOLUTION ORDERING REDUCTION OF ASSESSMENTS THE GATEWAY ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. ST-82-2 RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, County of San Mateo, California, that WHEREAS, the estimated cost of the project under Resolution of Intention No. 74-82, adopted by this Council on July 7, 1982, was $26,621,354, of which amount this City was to contribute the sum of $492,500, leaving a balance to assessment of $26,128,854; WHEREAS, following the opening of bids for the work and receipt of the underwriters' offer to purchase the bonds, said estimate may be reduced to $22,044,370, of which amount this City will contribute the estimated sum of $492,500, leaving an estimated balance to assessment of $21,551,870; · NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the total assesssment is hereby reduced from $26,128,854 to $21,551,870 and that each of the individual assessments shall be reduced by its pro rata share of the difference between the total assessment as preliminarily approved and said reduced total assessment except that the assessment on Assessor's Parcel Nos. 015-023-150 and 015-023-160 {Assessment No. 10) shall remain at and not exceed the amount of $1,800,000. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on this 1st day of December , 1982, by the following vote: AYES: NOES' ABSENT' Councilmembers Ronald G.
