A RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT
THE GATEWAY ASSESSMENT DISTRICT
NO. ST-82-2
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, County
of San Mateo, California, that
WHEREAS, on the 17th day of November, 1982, the City Clerk of the City
of South San Francisco publicly opened, examined and declared all sealed
proposals or bids for a portion of the work to be done and improvements to be
made, as described and specified in Resolution of Intention No. 74-82, adopted
by this Council on July 7, lg82, to which resolution and the plans and
specifications reference is hereby made for a description of said work and
improvements to be done and the materials, supplies and equipment to be
furnished therefor; and
WHEREAS, said bids were referred to and considered by this Council at
its meeting on December 1, 1982;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, as follows:
1. This Council hereby rejects all of said proposals or bids except
that hereinafter mentioned, and hereby awards the contract for doing said work
and improvements and furnishing the supplies, materials and equipment
necessary therefor, to the lowest responsible bidder, to wit:
O. C. JONES
at the unit prices specified in the bid of said low bidder.
2. The City Manager of this City is hereby authorized to make and
enter into a written contract with said successful bidder, and to receive
and approve all bonds in connection therewith, and the City Clerk of this City
is hereby directed to attest the signature of said City Manager and affix
thereto the official seal of this City.
3. The City Engineer shall, within five (5) days of the adoption of
this resolution, transmit an Extract of Public Works Contract Award to the
Department of Industrial Relations, Division of Apprenticeship Standards, P.O.
Box 603, San Francisco, California 94101. Should a finding of any discrepancy
regarding the ratio of apprentices to journeymen be made, the Division of
Apprenticeship Standards shall be notified of such findings.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a
regular meeting held on this 1st day of December , 1982, by the following
vote:
