CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND APPROVING APPLICATION FOR IN-
CLUSION IN THE FEDERAL AID URBAN SYSTEM OF PRODUCE AVENUE
WIDENING FROM 0.10 MILES SOUTH OF SAN MATEO AVENUE TO STATE
HIGHWAY 1.01

RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of~South San Francisco
WHEREAS, the City of South San Francisco desires improvement and
widening of Produce Avenue from 0.10 miles south of San Mateo Avenue to
State Highway 101 for the betterment of traffic circulation and safety; and
WHEREAS, Produce Avenue is functionally classified as a major
arterial street in the Circulation Element of the General Plan of the City
of South San Francisco; and
WHEREAS, the federal government through its Federal Aid Urban
program has made funding available to local agencies for such improvements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City
of South San Francisco does hereby'
1,
Authorize and approve application for Federal Aid
Urban Funding for Produce Avenue widening from 0.10
miles south of San Mateo Avenue to State Highway 101;
and
,
Authorize the City Engineer to file said application
with the Federal Aid Urban Technical Advisory COmmit-
tee of San Mateo County.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly intro-
duced and adopted by the City COunci~l of the City of South San Francisco at a
regular meeting held on the 15th day of December , 1982, by the
following vote:-
