CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO DISPOSE
OF REAL PROPERTY BY SALE AND
PROVIDING FOR NOTICE- THEREOF
WHEREAS, in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act of
1970, as amended, (Section 21000 et. seq. of the Government Code) a Categorical
Exemption analysis dated December 3, 1982 has been prepared by the City staff
with respect to the sale of the real property located at 1165 E1 Camino Real,
South San Francisco, California, and more particularly described as follows'
"Lots numbered one (1) and two (2) in Block numbered one (1)
as shown upon that certain map entitled: "Rancho Buri-
Buri, South San Francisco," which map was filed in the
office of the county recorder for the county of San Mateo,
State of California, March 22, 1946, and recorded in Book
25 of Maps at pages 28, 29 and 30,"
(hereinafter referred to as "Buri-Buri Fire Station"); and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said Categorical Exemption analysis a Notice of
Exemption, dated December 3, 1982, has been filed in the offices of the City Clerk
and of the Clerk of San Mateo County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco that:
1. The real property hereinabove described and referred to as the Buri-
Buri Fire Station is surplus and is not needed for public purposes by the City of
South San Francisco, and the disposition of said Buri-Buri Fire Station would be
to the best interests and for the common benefit of the City of South San Francisco
and its citizens.
2. It ils the intention of this Council to dispose of said Buri-Buri Fire
Station by sale at not less than fair market value, pursuant to the provisions
of Section 37350 of the Government Code.
3. Said Buri-Buri Fire Station is not capable of park or recreational
development.
4. The City Manager is hereby directed to cause written notice of this
Council's intention to dispose of said Buri-Buri Fire Station to be given in
accordance with Section 54226 of the Government Code and to offer the property
for sale to the South San Francisco Housing Authority at fair market value in
accordance with the aforementioned section.
I hereby Certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular
meeting held On the 15th day of December , 19 82 , by the following
vote'
