CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION COMMENDING LEROS MANTERO
WHEREAS, Leros Mantero, has dedicated fourteen (14) years to
the Department of Public Services in the City of South San Francisco,
during which period he faithfully served the City; and
WHEREAS, Leros Mantero was first employed by the City of South
San Francisco as Relief Plant Operator on May 16, 1968; and
WHEREAS, on May 16, 1969, Leros Mantero was promoted to Plant
Operator II; and
WHEREAS, Leros Mantero has served in this position with dedication
until hisretirementon December 31, 1982; and
WHEREAS, the City of South San Francisco, a municipal corporation,
has been fortunate in having the capable services of Leros Mantero;
and
WHEREAS, his services have been of great benefit to the City and
its residents, and because of this the City Council desires to commend
and express appreciation to him;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
South San Francisco that it does hereby express appreciation to Leros
Mantero for his dedicated services to the City of South San Francisco
and does order this Resolution incorporated in the official records of
the City as this Council's expression and its wishes for his long and
happy retirement.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 5th day of
January , 19 83 , by thefollowingvote:
AYES: Councilmembers Ronald G. Acosta, Mark N. Addiego, Emanuele N. Damonte,
Gus Nicolopulos; and Roberta Cerri Teglia
