CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION PRESCRIBING THE TIME AND METHOD OF
PAYING SALARIES, ADOPTING REVISED PAY RANGE
SCHEDULES AND PROVIDING FOR RELATED MATTERS.
BE IT RESOLVED By the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that:
1. Alphabetical List of Classifications and Pay Ranges:
The document consisting of eight pages, designated Exhibit "A" and incor-
porated herein by this reference, entitled "City of South San Francisco
Alphabetical List of Classifications and Pay Ranges, Effective July 1, 1982,"
is hereby approved and adopted, and same sets forth the classification
title, designates those classifications which are classified, unclassified,
part-time, elective, or members of Boards and Commissions; sets opposite the
classification title the bargaining unit designation, affirmative action
data, the number of budgeted positions and pay range numbers which are
effective July 1, 1982, and which range numbers relate to the City of South
San Francisco Master Salary Table - Standard Bi-Weekly, Standard Weekly or
Master Salary Table Fire Bi-Weekly as described below.
2. City of South San Francisco Master Salary Table - Standard Bi-Weekly:
The Document, containing thirty-seven pages with Ranges Numbered 200 to
and including 2000, and incorporated herein by this reference, entitled
"City of South San Francisco Master Salary Table - Standard Bi-Weekly,"
is hereby approved and adopted for all classifications except those
classifications provided for in the Standard Weekly Salary Table or the
Fire Bi-Weekly Salary Table.
3. City of South San Francisco Master Salary Table - Standard Weekly:
The document, containing seventy-seven pages with Ranges Numbered 200 to
and including 4000, and incorporated herein by this reference, entitled
"City of South San Francisco Master Salary Table - Standard Weekly," is
hereby approved and adopted for all Classifications which are assigned to
Pay Ranges numbered from 2001 to and including 4000.
4. City of South San Francisco Master Salary Table - Fire Bi-Weekly:
The document, containing thirty-seven pages with Ranges Numbered 200 to
and including 2000, and incorporated herein by this reference, entitled
"City of South San Francisco Master Salary Table - Fire Bi-Weekly," is
hereby approved and adopted for all classifications which are assigned to
Pay Ranges designated by an "F" after the range number.
5. Method of Paying Salaries:
Salaries shall be paid bi-weekly in accordance with the applicable salary
table, with the specific range and step for each employee being computed
in accordance with the effective Memorandum of Understanding or
appropriate Council Resolution. Payments shall be made by payroll checks
countersigned by two authorized signatures, based on payroll or atten-
dance records approved by the Department Heads of the respective
Department.
6. Maintenance of Copies:
Copies of the Standard Bi-Weekly Master Salary Table, Standard Weekly
Master Salary Table and Fire Bi-Weekly Master Salary Table shall be
filed with the City Clerk for Central Records. The City clerk shall
endorse thereon "Approved January, 1983, by Resolution No. 11-83
adopted January 19 , 1983."
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a
regular meeting held on the 19th day of January , 1983, by the
following vote:
