A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE
A PORTION O)~ THE NORTH SIDE OF OYSTER
POINT BOULEVARD ADJACENT TO 375 OYSTER
POINT BOULEVARD
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
as follows:
1. Notice is hereby given that Wednesday , the 2nd day of
MarCh , 19 83., at 7:30 p.m., which time is not less than fifteen
(15) days from the date of passage of this Resolution, in the Community Room
of the Municipal Services Building, 33 Arroyo Drive, South San Francisco,
California, is hereby fixed as the time and place when and where all persons
interested in, or having objections to, the proposed vacation of a portion
of the North side of Oyster Point Boulevard adjacent to 375 Oyster Point ~!vd.

as hereinafter described, may appear before said Council and be heard.
2. A copy of this Resolution shall be published for at least two (2)
successive weeks prior to the hearing date in the Enterprise-Journal, a news-
paper of general circulation printed and published in said City in the manner
prescribed by law for publishing ordinances in said City.
3. Notices of the vacation, stating the passage of the Resolution of
Intention and the time and place of hearing shall be posted conspicuously along
the line of the street, or part thereof, proposed to be vacated at least two
(2) weeks before the date set for the hearing and not less than three (3) notices
shall be posted.
4. The public interest and convenience require, and it is the intention
of this Council to vacate a portion of the North side of Oyster Point Boulevard
adjacent to 375 Oyster Point Blvd.
as shown on the map entitled "Portion of Oyster Point Blvd. to be Vacated"
which is on file in the office of the City Clerk, and which is more particularly
described in Exhibit ~'A" attached hereto.
5. The public interest, convenience and necessity require the reservation
of an easement for gas and electric facility purposes over the entire area to
be vacated, which is more particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto,
and by this reference incorporated herein as if set forth verbatim and the vacation
proceedings are taken subject to such reservation. The City Council does hereby
reserve and except from such proceedings an easement for gas and electric facility
purposes through the entire area described in Exhibit "A."
6. This vacation proceeding is conducted pursuant to Chapter 3 of the
Public Streets, Highways and Service Easements Vacation Law (Streets & Highways
Code Section 8300 et seq.).
7. A copy of this Resolution shall be submitted to the Planning Commission
of the City of South San Francisco for a report and recommendation in accordance
with the Government Code of the State of California.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a reqular
meeting held on the 2nd day of February , 1983, by the following vote:

Gus Nicolopulos; and Roberta Cerri Teglia

EXHIBIT "A"
DESCRIPTION OF EASEMENT TO BE ABANDONED BY
CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO

An Easement over and within all of that certain real property situate
in the City of South San Francisco, County of San Mateo, State of Cali-
fornia, said Easement being particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point on the southeasterly line of the Lands described
in Deed from South San Francisco Land and Improvement Company to John F.
Kelly Oil Company, which Deed was recorded June 6, 1951, in Book 2081 of
Official Records of San Mateo County at Page 197, said Point of Beginning
being the intersection of said southeasterly line with the general southerly
line of the lands described in Quitclaim deed from Utah Construction &
Mining Co. to the City of South San Francisco, which was recorded July 6,
1971, in Book 5973 of Official Records of San Mateo County at Page 618, and
said Point of Beginning being located on said southeasterly line of lands
conveyed to Kelly Oil Company 112.47 feet northeasterly from the south-
westerly terminus of that certain course designated as "North ~6.° 04' East
119.61 feet" in said deed to K~lly 0il Company, and last said course being
taken as N 46° 03' 05" E for the purposes of this description; thence from
: Ld Point of Beginning leaving said lands conveyed to Kelly Oil Company
and along said lands Quit claimed to city of South San Francisco on the arc
of a curve to the right from a tangent which bears N 46° 03' 05" E having
a radius of 205 feet and a central angle of 2° lC' 52", an arc distance of
7.80 feet to a point of cusp; thence leaving, last said lands southerly and
southwesterly on the arc of a curve to the right from a tangent which bears
S 19° 14' 36" W, having a radius of 190 feet and a central angle of
21° 37' 44", an arc distance of 71.72 feet; thence tangent to the pre-
ceding curve S 40° 52' 20" W 260.44 feet; thence tangent to the preceding
course on the arc of a curve to the right, having a radius of 487 feet and
a central angle of 28° 28' 03", an arc distance of 241.97 feet; thence
N 01° 33' 41" W 6.59 feet to a point on the southeasterly line of the above
described lands conveyed to Kelly Oil Company; thence along said south-
easterly line N 55° 57' 31" E 186.79 feet, N 40° 57' 35" E 164.01 feet,
N 34° 49' 05" E 94.14 feet, and N ~6° 03' 05" E 112.47 feet to the Point of
Beginning. '~
