CITY 'COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FP, ANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A, RESOLUTION ORDERING' THE VACATION OF
A PORTION OF THE NORTH SIDE OF OYSTER
POINT BOULEVARD ADJACENT TO 375 OYSTER
POINT BOULEVARD
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco,
as follows:
1. The City Council on the 2nd day of February , 1983 ,
adopted Resolution No. 21-83., entitled "A Resolution of Intention to Vacate
a Portion of the North Side of Oyster Point Boulevard Adjacent to 375 Oyster
Bou 1 evard ,"
which Resolution recited that the proceedings were undertaken pursuant to the
Street Vacation Act of 1951 (Streets and Highways Code Section 8300 et seq.)
and which Resolution of Intention was duly published as required by law', and
notices of hearing were duly posted in the time, manner and form provided by
law, all as appears from the affidavit of publication and the affidavit of
posting on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City.
2. The Planning Commission of the City of South San Francisco on the
10th day of February , 19 83 , approved said vacation.
3. Wednesday , the 2nd day. of March , 1983 at
the hour of 7:30 p.m. in the Community Room of the Municipal Services Building,

33 Arroyo Drive, South San Francisco, California, was fixed in said Resolution
of Intention as the time and place when and where any and all persons interested
in, or having any objections to, said proposed vacation, were to appear before
said Council and be heard.
4. No objections of any kind or character have been or were made or
filed against vacation.
5. The City Council finds that the street which is described in said
Resolution of Intention and which is more particularly described in Exhibit "A"
attached hereto which is hereby, incorporated by reference as though set f~rth
·
verbatim herein, is unnecessary for present or prospective public use except
for the reservation of an easement for gas and electric facility purposes
over the .entire area tO be vacated.
6. The street which is described in said Resolution of Intention and
more particulary described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and previously incorp-
orated by reference, is hereby ordered vacated except for the reservation of
an easement for gas and electric facility purposes throughout the entire area
described i n Exhi bi t "A."
7. The City Clerk shall cause a certified copy of this Resolution and
order, attested under the seal of said City, to be recorded in the office of
the Recorder of the County. of San Mateo.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regulary introduced
and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular
meeting held on the 2nd day of March , 1'983, by the vollowing vote-

DESCRIPTION OF EASEMENT TO BE ABANDONED BY
CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
An Easement over and within all of that~ certain real property situate
in the City of South San Francisco, County of San Marco, State of Cali-
fornia, said Easement being p~rticularlY described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point on the southeasterly line of the Lands described
in Deed from South San Francisco Land and Improvement Company to John F.
Kelly Oil Company, which Deed was recorded June 6, 1951, in Book 2081 of
Official Records of San Marco County at Page 197, said Point of Beginning
being the intersection of said southeasterly line with the general southerly
line of the lands described in Quitclaim deed from Utah Construction &
Mining Co. to the City of South San FranciSco, which was recorded July 6,
1971, in Book 5973 of Official Records of San Marco County at Page 618, and
said Point of Beginning being located on said southeasterly line of lands
conveyed to Kelly Oil Company 112.$7 feet northeasterly from the south-
westerly terminus of that certain course designated as "North $6.o 05' East
119.61 feet" in said deed to ~Kelly Oil Company, and last said course being
--~ken as 'N $6° 03' 05" E for the purposes of this descriptiOn; thence from
Lid Point of. Beginning leaving said lands conveyed to Kelly Oil Company
and along said lands Quit claimed to City of South San Francisco on the arc
of a curve to the right from a tangent which bears N $6° 03' 05" E having
a radius of 205 feet and a central angle of 2° 10' 52", an arc distance of
?.80 feet to a point of cusp; thence leaving, last said lands southerly and
southwesterly' on the arc of a curve to the right from a tangent which bears
S 19° 15' 36" W, having a radius of 190 feet and a central angle of
21° 37' $$", an arc distance of 71.72 feet; thence tangent to the pre-
ceding curve S $0° 52' 20" W 260.$$ feet; thence tangent to the preceding
course on the arc of a curve to the right, having a radius of $87 feet and
a central angle of .28'~ 28' 03", an arc distance of 251.97 feet; thence
N O1° 33' $1" W 6.59 feet to a point on the southeasterly line of the above
described lands conveyed to Kelly 0il Company; thence along said south-
easterly line N 55° 57' 31" E 186.79 feet, N 40° 57' 35" E 165.01 feet,
N 3~° $9' 05" E 95.1~ feet, and N 46° 03' 05" E 112.~7 feet to the Point of
