CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING APPRECIATION TO
CARL HUTZEN
WHEREAS, Carl Hutzen has served for a total of more than nine and
one-half (9-1/2) years with the South San Francisco Department of Parks
and Recreatlon; and
WHEREAS, he was first employed by the Department of Recreation as a
Park Maintenance Worker I on September 7, 1973, and was assigned to
maintaining medians and repalrlng Irrigation lines; and
WHEREAS, he was promoted to Park Maintenance Worker II on September
19, 1975, and assigned to maintaining the ten (10) acre Westborough Park
In September of 1980, Increasing the maintenance level tremendously; and
WHEREAS, due to his work In Increasing the maintenance level of the
Westborough Park, the usage of the site has Increased substantially; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to express appreciation to hlm for
said services to better this community.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
South San Francisco that the Council does hereby express appreciation to
Carl Hutzen for hls contribution to the City's progress and welfare
through his service as an employee of the South San Francisco Department
of Parks and Recreation through which he gave hls time, Interest and
effort to better thls community and does order this resolution Incorporated
In the official records of the City as this Council's appreciation and
wishes for his long and happy retirement.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly Introduced
and adopted by the City Councll of the City of South San Francisco at
a regular meeting held on the 6th~ day of April , 19 83
by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Ronald G. Acosta, Mark N. Addiego, Emanuele N. Damonte,
Gus Nicolopulos; and Roberta Cerri Teglia
