CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION IN MEMORY OF SOLOMON S. JONES
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of South San Francisco shar~s
with the family and many friends of Solomon S. Jones, deceased, a deep sorrow
on the occasion of his untimely passing; and
WHEREAS, Solomon S. Jones served well and fa~hfully as a Police Officer
of the City of South San Francisco for a period of more than t~ee (3) years
from October I, 1979 until his death on April 20, 1983; and
WHEREAS, Solomon S. Jones was a member of the South San Francisco Police
Association, the California Peace Officers Association and the Peace Officers
Research Association of California; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of South San Franc~co desires to
record its memory of Solomon S. Jones in the official records of the City of
South San Francisco and to express thereby its sympathy to his family and many
friends;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco that it does hereby express d~ sincere condolences to the family
and friends of Officer Solomon S. Jones, deceased, in this moment of their great
personal loss, and does permanently record by this Resolution i~s respectful
remembrance of h~ contribution to t~is community's safety and welf~e by his
faithful service as a Police Officer of the City of South San Francisco.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced
adjourned
and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at an
