A RESOLUTION APPROPRIATING FUNDS FROM
THE UNALLOCATED RESERVE OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO TO THE SURPLUS
PROPERTY AUTHORII~~ OF THE CITY OF SOUTH
SAN FRANC ISCO
WHEREAS, this City Council by Ordinance 919-83 enacting Section~2~18:020
of the South San Francisco Municipal Code adopted April 6, 1983 and effective
May 6, 1983, did lawfully establish the Surplus Property Authority pursuant
to the Municipal Federal Surplus Property Authority Law (commencing with Govern-
ment Code Section 40500); and
WHEREAS, the Surplus Property Commission has adopted budgets for fiscal
years 1982-83 and 1983-84; and
WHEREAS, it is now necessary that the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco allocate funds for administrative purposes of the Authority;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco that:
1. The Director of Finance is authorized to apPropriate for the use of
the Surplus Property Authority the amounts set forth in Exhibit "A" attached
hereto and incorporated herein by reference as though set forth verbatim; said
monies to be transferred from the unallocated reserve to the Surplus Property
Authority.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a special
meeting held on the llth day of May , 1983, by the following
vote'
