HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 125-1983 RESOLUTION NO. 125-83 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION AMENDING CHAPTER I OF THE MASTER FEE SCHEDULE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO TO SET APPLICATION FEES FOR TEMPORARY SIDEWALK SALES OR DISPLAYS WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to amend Page 1-8 of Chapter I of the Master Fee Schedule under the Section entitled "Police Department"; and WHEREAS, Section 6.90.030 of the South San Francisco Municipal Code provides that any applications for temporary sidewalk sales or displays shall be accompanied by a non-refundable processing fee in an amount as set forth in the Master Fee Schedule of the City of South San Francisco as adopted by resolution of the City Council; and WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the costs incurred in pro- cessing applications for temporary sidewalk sales or displays. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT: 1. The City Council finds that the estimated cost incurred by the City in processing each application for a temporary sidewalk sale or display is Seventy Dollars ($70.00). 2. The City Council hereby sets the fee for processing applications for temporary sidewalk sales or displays at Seventy Dollars ($70.00) for each such application, which fee may be waived by motion of the City Council. 3. The Master Fee Schedule of the City of South San Francisco is hereby amended to reflect the fee set herein at page 1-8 under the section entitled "Police Department". 4. Any provision of a prior resolution or resolutions which set fees in- consistent with or contradictory to the fee set herein are hereby repealed. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 7th day of September , 1983, by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Ronald G.
