REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF
THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO APPROVING
THE PROPOSED 1992-1993 BUDGET FOR THE EL
CAMINO CORRIDOR REDEVELOPMENT AREA
WHEREAS, on May 27, 1992, the City Council adopted a
resolution stating the City's intent to establish a new
redevelopment project area for the E1 Camino Corridor to help off-
set the costs of locating the BART extension in a subway; and
WHEREAS, the establishing of the redevelopment area is
essential to the continued avoidance of the at-grade alignment for
BART; and
WHEREAS, the proposed budget for the E1 Camino Corridor
Redevelopment Area covers the Redevelopment Plan adoption, the EIR,
the costs of the City's annexing the McLellan Nursery and including
it in the project area and the costs of working with BART and
SamTrans on financial agreements to assure the subway alignment for
BART in South San Francisco; and
WHEREAS, the timing and complexity of the project will require
significant consultant assistance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Redevelopment Agency of
the City of South San Francisco as follows:
1. The proposed budget for the E1 Camino Redevelopment Area,
attached hereto as Exhibit "A" is hereby approved and adopted.
2. The Executive Director is hereby authorized to expend the
funds of the Agency as allocated in the proposed budget

I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the Redevelopment Agency of the City of
South San Francisco at a re§u]ar meeting held on the 9th
day of September , 1992 by the following vote:
AYES: Boardmembers Jack Drago, Joseph A. Fernekes, Roberta Cerri Teglia,
Robert Yee, and Chairman John R. Penna
NOES: None
