CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AMENDING CHAPTER i OF THE MASTER FEE SCHEDULE
OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to amend certain fees and services charges
for certain services provided to the public by the Department of Community
Development as set forth in Chapter 1, pages 1-3 to 1-4; of the Master Fee
Schedule; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to amend certain fees and service charges
for certain services provided to the public by the Building Division and Fire
Department as set forth by the Master Fee Schedule; and
WHEREAS, Government Code Sections 54990, et~ seq~ provide a procedure for
levying and amending certain fees and service charges by local agencies; and
WHEREAS, it is in the public interest to have this City's various fees and
service charges properly indexed and published in a single document available
to employees and the public, and amended accordingly; and
WHEREAS' the City Council did on October 5, 1983 conduct a properly
noticed public hearing at which an opportunity was given to the members of the
public to make written or oral presentations on the subject of said fees and
service charges; and
WHEREAS, at least ten (10) days prior to said public hearing the City made
an estimate of costs required to provide the services for which the fees or
service charges are levied and the revenue sources anticipated to provide the
services including general fund revenue; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the costs to provide said services
including estimated costs, and the revenue sources anticipated to provide said
services, including general fund revenue; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has also considered the public response to said
proposed amendments to the fees and service charges,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that:
1. The Master Fee Schedule of the City of South San Francisco is hereby
amended to reflect the following changes which are hereby adopted as the fees
for the services indicated:

2, Effective November 18, 1982. that portion of Resolution No. 173-82
which set the plan checking fee at Page 1-5 and the fees at pages 1-9 through
1-15 of the Master Fee Schedule is rescinded~ Said fees as currently set by
Ordinance and as may be amended by Ordinance from time to time, are hereby
ordered to be listed in Chapter 5 of the Master Fee Schedule of this City~
3, All prior resolutions referring to fees which are inconsistent with
the Master Fee Schedule amendments adopted herein, are hereby repealed, to-
gether with any and all amendments to said prior resolutions.

4. Severability~
If any sentence, clause, phrase or other portion of this resolution
or of the Master Fee Schedule established hereby is for any reason held to
be unconstitutional or invalid, such decision shall not affect the validity
of the remaining portions of this resolution or of the Master Fee Schedule~
The City Council hereby declares that it would have adopted this resolution
and established the Master Fee Schedule and each sentence, clause, phrase or
portion thereof, irrespective of the fact that one or more sentences, clauses,
phrases or portions thereof be declared unconstitutional or invalid,
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a
regular meeting held on the 5th day of ..October ~ , 1983, by the
