AGREEMENT TO TERMINATE JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT
CREATING NORTH COUNTY HUMAN SERVICES ACCESS
SYSTEM ADMINIST-RATIVE REVIEW BOARD

BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
1. Execution of Agreement.
Execution of an Agreement entitled "Agreement to Terminate Joint
Powers Agreement Creating North County Human Services Access System Administrative
Review Board" 'among' the County of San Mateo, City of Brisbane, City of Pacifica,
City of San Bruno and City of South San Francisco is hereby authorized and a copy
of said Agreement is attached hereto as Exhibit "A."
2. Signatures.
The Mayor is authorized to execute said Agreement on behalf of the
City., and the City Clerk attest his signature thereto.
I hereby Certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular
meeting held on the 19th day of October , 1983, by the following
vote'

AGREEMENT TO TERMINATE JOINT 'POWERS AGREEMENT CREATING NORTH
COUNTY HUMAN SERVICES ACCESS SYSTEM ADMINISTRATIVE REVIEW BOARD
THIS AGREEMENT, entered into as of the day of , 1983
by and between the COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, CITY OF BRISBANE, CITY OF PACIFICA, CITY
OF SAN BRUNO and CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO;
WHEREAS, on or about June, 1980, COUNTY OF SAN MAT£O, CITY OF BRISBANE,
CITY OF PACIFICA, CITY OF SAN BRUNO and CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO entered into
a JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT Creating the NORTH COUNTY HUMAN SERVICES ACCESS SYSTEM
ADMINISTRATIVE REVIEW BOARD for a demonstration project ("the Agreement"); and.
WHEREAS, the'iproject represented an extensive effort to conSolidate and
integrate services to improve the human service delivery system in San Mateo
County; and
WHEREAS, the project has been successfully completed; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section II, D, the Joint Powers Agency may be term-
. o
inated by mutual consent of the parties to the Agreement; and
WHEREAS, it now appears that each of the parties to the Agreement desires
that the Agreement be forthwith terminated.
NOW, THEREFORE, the COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, CITY OF BRISBANE, CITY OF PACIFICA,
CITY OF SAN BRUNO and CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO hereby agree, between ~ and amongst
themselves that the Agreement shall be and is now and forever terminated. If there
are any funds or assets on hand at the time of termination, and all losses or legal
commitments shall fi rst be honored and the balance of funds and assets shall be
distributed to those agencies or contractors from which the original resources
were obtained. ~
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the governing bodies o'fthe parties hereto have caused
this Agreement to be executed and attested by their respective officials.
