CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO DISPOSE
OF REAL PROPERTY BY SALE AND
PROVIDING FOR NOTICE THEREOF
WHEREAS, in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act of
1970, as amended,(Commencing with Section 21000 of the Pubiic~ ReSourc'es Code), Cate-
gorical exemption analysis, dated October 25, 1983, has been prepared by the
City staff with respect to the sale of the real propertY located at 822 West
Orange Avenue, South San Francisco, California, and more particularly described
as follows:
"Lot 160, as designated on the map entitled "SOUTHWOOD MAP NO. '3
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CALIF.", which map was filed in the office
of the Recorder of the County of San Mateo, State of California
on March 8, 1945 in Book 24 of Maps at page 40."
(hereinafter, the "Property"); and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said Categorical Exemption analysis a Notice of
Exemption, dated October 25, 1983 has been filed in the offices of the City Clerk
and of the Clerk of San Mateo County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco that:
1. The real property hereinabove described and referred to as the Property
is surplus and is not needed for public purposes by the City of South San Francisco,
and the disposition of the Property would be in the best interests and for the
common benefit of the City of South San Francisco and its citizens.
2. It is the intention of this Council to dispose of the Property by sale
at not less than fair market value, pursuant to the provisions of Section 37350 of
the Government Code.
3. The Property has a residential structure located on it, and said Property
is not capable of park or recreational development.
4. The City Manager is hereby directed to cause written notice of this
Council's intention to dispose of the Property to be given in accordance with
Section 54222 of the Government Code and to offer the Property for sale at fair
market value in accordance with the aforementioned section.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular
meeting held on the 2nd day of November , 19 82 , by the following vote:
