CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO DISPOSE OF
REAL PROPERTY BY SALE AND PROVIDING
FOR NOTICE THEREOF
WHEREAS, in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act
of 1970, as amended, (Commencing with Section 21000 of the Public Resources
Code) a Categorical exemption analysis, dated August 29, 1983, has been
prepared by the City Staff with respect to the sale of two parcels of land
located southwest of Hillside/Chestnut intersection, South San Francisco,
California, and more particularly described in Exhibits "A" and "B" and de-
lineated on Exhibit "C", all of which~Exhibits are attached hereto and in-
corporated herein by this reference as though set forth verbatim (hereinafter
the "Property"); and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said Categorical Exemption analysis a Notice of
Exemption, dated August 29, 1983 has been filed in the offices of the City
Clerk and the Clerk of San Mateo County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco that:
1. The real property hereinabove described and referred to as the Property
is surplus and is not needed for public purposes by the City of South San
Francisco, and the disposition of the Property would be in the best interests
and for the common benefit of the City of South San Francisco and its citizens.
2. It is the intention of this Council to dispose of the Property by sale
at not less than fair market value, pursuant to the provisions of Section 37350
of the Government Code.
3. The City Manager is hereby directed to cause written notice of this
Council's intention to dispose of the Property to be given in accordance wi th
Section 54222 of the Government Code and to offer the Property for sale at
fair market value in accordance with the aforementioned section.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a re.qular
