CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AND APPROVING
AN AMENDMENT TO THE PERSONNEL RULES
AND REGULATIONS SECTION 11.02~
BE IT RESOLVED By the City Council of the City of South San Francisco 'that
The paragraph of South San Francisco Personnel Rules and Regulations Section
11.02, is hereby amended to read as follows:
11.02 DURATION
All original and promotional appointees shall serve a probationary
period of not less than one (1) year of actual service excepting that
the probationary period for appointees to the classification of Police
Officer shall be eighteen (18) monthsJ An appointee's probationary
period may be extended for a period not to exceed six (6) additional
months by mutual agreement."
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a 'regular
· meeting held on the 16th day of November , 1983, by the
following vote:
AYES:"Councilmembers Ronald G. Acosta, Mark N. Addiego, Emanuele N.' Damonte,
Gus Nicolopulos; and Roberta Cerri Teglia
