CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION COMMENDING DINO LOMBARDI
WHEREAS, Dino Lombardi was first employed by the Street Department of
the City of South San Francisco on September 4, 1956 and will be retiring on
December 29, 1983 after having served twenty-seven (27) years of faithful
service; and
WHEREAS, he was elevated from a Maintenance Worker I to his present
position of Maintenance Worker II on July 26, 1974 and, being extremely well
liked, he is known for his cooperation and willingness to help his fellow
employees in their performance of duties and personal tasks; and
WHEREAS, Dino Lombardi was born and raised in the City of South San
Francisco and is from a long standing family in the community, having had
his primary schooling at the Martin School in the South San Francisco School
District; and
WHEREAS, he has contributed to the welfare of this community through
his employment at the Street Department, and the City Council desires to
express appreciation to him for his services,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco that the Council does hereby express appreciation to Dino Lombardi
for his dedicated services to the City of South San Francisco and does order
this resolution incorporated in the official records of the City as this
Council's expression and its wishes for his long and happy retirement.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a n
