A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A NO-PARt<ING
ZONE ON THE EAST SIDE OF EL CAMINO REAL
BETWEEN A POINT 200' NORTH OF FIRST ST~.
AND 100' NORTH OF CHESTNUT AVENUE
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San ~,rancisco
that the CounCil, having donsidered the staff r~port dated January 11, 1984,
finds and detoermines that parking on the east side .of E1 Camino Real beginning
at a point two hundred feet (200') north of the intersection of First Street
and ending at a point one hundred feet (100') north'of the intersection of
Chestnut Avenue must be eliminated in order to accomodate channelization im-
provements to the northbound lanes of E1 Camino Real (i.e. adding a second
left turn lane from northbound E1 Camino Real to westbound Westborough Boule-
vard) and the necessary transition modifications north and south of Chestnut
Avenue, and the Council does, therefore, in accordance with Vehicle Code Section
22506 ~nd Section 11.40.040D of the South San Francisco Municipal Code, order
that the following described area be established as a no-parking area in the
City of South San Francisco and that Section III of Resolution Number 3812, passed
November 4, 1963, as amended,' entitled "A Resolution of the City Council of the
City of South San Francisco Establishing Certain Traffic Regulations in Accordance
with Ordinance 491" be amended by adding thereto Section P, which shall read as

P. EAST SIDE ~OF EL CAMINO REAL BETWEEN A iPOINT 200' NORTH OF THE INTER-
SECTION WITH FIRST STREET AND 100' NORTH OF THE INTERSECTION WITH
CHESTNUT AVENUE'
The east side of E1 Camino Real beginning at a point two hundred feet
(200') north of the intersection with First Street and continuing to a
point one hundred feet (100') north of the intersection with Chestnut
Avenue, as shown on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and by this
reference incorporated herein as though set forth verbatim.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution be submitted to the Department
of Public Works of the State of California for approval in writing and said
Resolution shall not become operative until and unless said approval is pro-
vided by the Department of Public Works of the State of California, which approval
shall be endorsed on the face of this Resolution or attached hereto.

and adopted by the City Council of the City of South sSan Francisco at a regular
meeting held on the llth day of January , 1984, by the following vote:

Gus Nicolopulos; and Roberta Cerri Teglia
