HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso RDA 14-1992-- RESOLUTION NO. ~-92 REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO APPROVING THE PRELIMINARY PLAN FOR THE AMENDED EL CAMINO CORRIDOR REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AREA, RATIFYING SUBMISSION OF THE DOCUMENTS REQUIRED BY HEALTH AND SAFETY CODE SECTION 33327, AND ESTABLISHING THE BASE YEAR FOR TAX ALLOCATION PURPOSES WHEREAS, on November 5, 1992, by Resolution No. 2443, the Planning Commission of the City of South San Francisco (the "Planning Commission") selected the E1 Camino Corridor Redevelopment Project Area boundaries (the "Project Area") and adopted a Preliminary Plan for said Project Area; and WHEREAS, said Resolution authorized the Planning Commission to submit the Preliminary Plan to the Redevelopment Agency of the City of South SaW'Francisco (the "Agency"); and WHEREAS, the Agency has received and by this resolution hereby approved the Preliminary Plan for the Project Area; and -- WHEREAS, the Agency desires to proceed with the formal adoption of a Redevelopment Plan (the "Plan") for said Project Area; and WHEREAS, the Agency desires to designate 1992/93 as the base year assessment roll it shall use for the allocation of taxes with respect to the Project Area; and WHEREAS, to facilitate the implementation of the Plan adoption process, pursuant to California Health and Safety Code Section 33327, Agency staff has submitted the required documents to the County Administrator, County Auditor, County Assessor, County Tax Collector, the State Board of Equalization, and to the legislative or governing bodies of all local agencies which receive a portion of the property tax generated in the Project Area. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Redevelopment Agency of the City of South San Francisco as follows: 1. That the Agency hereby accepts and approves the Preliminary Plan adopted by the Planning Commission as the Preliminary Plan for the E1 Camino Corridor Redevelopment Project Area; and 2. That the Agency hereby designates 1992/93 as the base year assessment roll it shall use for the allocation of taxes with respect to the Project Area; and 3. That the Agency hereby ratifies the transmittal of the documents required by Health & Safety Code Section 33327; and 4. That the Agency hereby authorizes and directs its Executive Director to take all reasonable and necessary steps to effectuate adoption of a Plan for the Project Area. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the Redevelopment Agency of the City of South San Francisco at a~$Decia] meeting held on the 18th day of November, 1992 by the following vote: AYES: Boardmembers Joseph A.
