CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION TO REJECT OFFER RECEIVED AND
TO DISPOSE OF REAL PROPERTY BY SALE
(822 WEST ORANGE AVENUE)
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 157-83 of the ~City Council adopted
on November 2, 1983, bids were publicly opened, examined and declared on February
27, 1984 for the purchase of the real property described as follows:
"Lot 160, as designated on the map entitled "SOUTHWOOD MAP NO. 3
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CALIF.", which map was filed in the office
of the Recorder of the County of San Mateo, State of California,
on March 8, 1945 in Book 24 of Maps at page 40."
(hereinafter, the "Property").
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco does hereby reject the only bid received for the purchase of the
Property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Purchasing Officer is hereby directed to
offer the Property for sale on the open market at a price equal to or greater than
the fair market value thereof.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular
meeting held on the 14th day of March , 1984, by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Mark N. Addie§o, Emanuele N. Damonte, Richard A. Haffey,
Gus Nicolopulos; and Roberta Cerri Teglia
